Role model extraordinaire- it takes 2!
Hello people!
Are you struggling to find the perfect role model?
Are you trying to step into these shoes yourself?
I think I might be able to help somewhat!
You see, no one is perfect but I’ve found one Somebody who fits so perfectly- no matter your field or tribe. He is for us all!!!
Yep! Christ is for us all. I’ll let you know why I’m so confident of this truth.
Just say HI-FIVE!
Can your role model understand you?
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin (Hebrews 4:15)
If you’re like me, you are constantly wondering at the magnitude of your complexity and tired of trying to explain yourself to people. I’m however introducing you to a lifestyle of presenting yourself before this awesome personality who has experience with your inner turmoil and can give the best comfort. You won’t feel like you are ‘offloading’ to a stranger.
How much does your role model know?
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. (1 Corinthians 1:25)
Aren’t we all in search of knowing what to do and how to do it? There’s nothing as pleasant as walking in accuracy in all aspects of your life.
So permit me! “All hail the Custodian of all wisdom and knowledge!”
Let me shout this one from the rooftop-IF YOU NEED WISDOM, RUN TO HIM ASAP!
Does your role model really really inspire you?
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]. (Philippians 4:13 (AMP))
Inspiration is a sort of mental stimulation. It is an inner strengthening to be productive. We need more than one dose of it. We require a sustained infusion to be everything that God has created us to be.
Christ would help initiate and sustain you physically, emotionally and spiritually so that you can be your best version.
Is your role model always there?
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
People need attention all the time-not just babies. It’s not okay to merely be dished out instructions or sympathized with when something happens. What we require is constant checking on. That’s why I recommend Jesus. He promises to be available 24/7 and He will. He doesn’t have off-duty days.
Dial him now. His line is never busy!
Can I have a look at your role model’s track record?
When it’s hard to take decisions and you have so many questions and concerns, you do need reassurance. You ultimately need to relate with someone that has a perfect track record in dealing with matters like this. I don’t have a single bible verse to illustrate this but I would have loved to copy and paste the entire bible here. It contains God’s entire resume!
Whoa! How do you feel about this? Has it helped you to draw close to Him AND has it helped you to become better at representing Him so that others would experience Him through you?
DON’T GO YET…Is it okay to just pray with you because I believe it’ll work?
Lord, thank you for you for this reader. Please help the one reading this post to really seek you and find you. For as many as are struggling, let the find peace, joy and inspiration in you. For as many that are lamenting about how people have failed them, let them know you as their best friend who heals all hurts and would always come through for them.
And God I pray that we all would look more and more like you each passing day, imitating you, so that we can be the earthly role models that people would experience Christ through. AMEN!
